The site includes a tool to figure out the right requirements for you, as well as many articles, tools, publications and resources. This site contains a wealth of information that is valuable to everyone.

National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute
This interactive menu planner is designed to guide daily food and meal choices based on one day's calorie allowance. It may be used in advance to plan a meal, or at the end of a day to add up total calories, as well as fat, and carbohydrates consumed. This site is very easy to use and is a great way to get a better understanding of what you are eating in a day.

Fruits and Veggies Matter

This portion of the CDC's website spotlights a fruit and vegetable for each month of the year, as well as listing archives from previous months/years. The site includes a picture that when clicked on displays selection, storage, preparation and recipe information for incorporation of that item into your diet. This is a very unique and definitely useful site to check out.

This site provides comprehensive news, overviews, guides, diagrams and charts, and tips for all aspects of exercise and physical fitness, including nutrition and alternative therapies. There are also special sections for men and for women around exercise and fitness. The site is very easy to navigate and extremely thorough in its presentation of the various topics.

This site is divided into sections for men and women, as well as general information, and provides information about getting enough servings of fruits and vegetables each day. The site includes articles, quizes, tip sheets and more. The site is very pleasing to the eye and is easy to navigate. The information is presented in easy to understand formats and is definitely worth checking out.
