Lying BoyfriendTue, Oct 31st 2000I am a therapist, but right now I am too close to the forest to see the trees. I have been seeing a man for four months. When the relationship became physical, I only asked that he not sleep with anyone else as long as he was sleeping with me. He agreed. He also said he would never lie to me; he "hates" liars. I found out he has been sleeping with another woman and telling us each lies about his whereabouts: when he is with me, he tells her a lie; when he is with her, he tells me a lie. He has carried this on for a month. He has been so caring and loving towards me, I cannot believe this is happening. He has even made future plans with me for his retirement in 3 years to move to Arizona with him. Our sexual relationship was great...and now I feel destroyed. I broke off the relationship and confronted him. He had nothing to say, not one word. I'm trying to sort out the feelings of betrayal and hurt and trying to "let go" of him...please help.
