Crisis Services

AMHC provides 24/7crisis services in Aroostook, Washington, and Hancock counties. Services are provided in the home, in a community setting, and by telehealth. In addition, crisis services are available during business hours 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at any AMHC outpatient office in Fort Kent, Madawaska, Caribou, Presque Isle, Houlton, Calais, Machias, and Ellsworth.

Crisis services include a mental health and/or substance use assessment and safety planning. Referrals are provided for additional services as needed.
