|Title:||Accounts Receivable Specialist|
AMHC is seeking a detailed and organized individual interested in filling a full time (40 hours per week) position as an Accounts Receivable Specialist in our Central Administrative Office in Caribou.
The primary responsibility of the Accounts Receivable Specialist is to perform all duties necessary for timely accounts receivable billing assigned to this position and to perform various secretarial duties. The completion and mailing of various billings such as self-pay bills, insurance forms, and special billing forms required by some agencies. This may require the majority of time be spent on the telephone to ensure timely and accurate information.
Applicants should possess an excellent working knowledge and understanding of Managed Care/Insurance organizations and their billing concepts. Good interpersonal skills and an appreciation of confidentiality requirements a must. Typing, basic bookkeeping, and familiarity with computers (especially Microsoft and Excel) also required.
