The State of Maine’s crisis telephone response service for individuals or families experiencing a behavioral health crisis or having thoughts of suicide and/or self-harm. Trained crisis call specialists answer the line and provide free and confidential telephone support and stabilization 24/7. AMHC Mobile Staff are the local responders to Maine Crisis Line calls in Aroostook, Washington, and Hancock counties.


The Lifeline provides 24/7 free and confidential support for people in distress as well as prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals. AMHC is the local responder to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline calls in Aroostook, Washington and Hancock counties.

Offers free stress management and resiliency resources to anyone in Maine experiencing stress reactions to the COVID-19 Pandemic. AMHC is pleased to be the local provider in Aroostook, Washington, and Hancock counties. Available 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. seven days a week.


Available daily from 12 p.m. – 10 p.m. EST.  A peer support text line for Maine youth 13-24 years of age and staffed by individuals ages 18-24.

A phone support service that provides Maine’s essential health care workers, first responders, and school personnel with help in managing the stress of providing essential services during our fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The volunteers help callers address concerns with anxiety, irritability, poor sleep, grief or worry and, if needed, connect them with additional supports. The Maine Warmline offers telephone support during challenging times and non-crisis situations. The goal is for an individual to be encouraged to build a life that is lived in the community of choice. Callers will receive support, social connection, assistance with referrals to community resources, recovery programs and an opportunity to connect with others during a time of fear, grief or sadness. Available 24/7, seven days a week.
