AMHC Promotes Sarah St. Pierre to Therapist/Consultant

AMHC is pleased to announce the promotion of Sarah St. Pierre, LMSW-CC, to the position of Therapist/Consultant at the Madawaska Outpatient Office.

In her new role, Sarah will offer both in-person and telehealth appointments for individuals across Aroostook County. She will provide co-occurring mental health and substance use counseling, along with couples and family therapy. Her work supports AMHC’s mission to deliver accessible, compassionate behavioral health services that meet the diverse needs of individuals and families in our communities.

Since joining AMHC in 2020 as a Behavioral Health Home Coordinator, Sarah has advanced through various positions, including Psychometrician and Family Visitation Specialist. In each role, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to client care and personal growth.

“Sarah has been an integral part of our team in her previous roles,” said Christy Daggett, AMHC CEO. “She consistently demonstrates dedication, compassion, and professionalism. We are proud to see her step into this new role where her experience and skills will continue to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.”

Sarah has taken full advantage of AMHC’s Career Development and Tuition Reimbursement Program, as well as the Vickers Education Fund Scholarship. These resources are part of AMHC’s ongoing investment in building a strong, qualified workforce to serve our region. “I’m incredibly grateful for the support AMHC has given me to grow professionally,” said Sarah. “Being part of a dedicated team that is committed to enhancing the behavioral health of our community is truly rewarding, and I look forward to continuing our important work together.”

Sarah earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Maine and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mount Allison University. She lives in Fort Kent with her family and is deeply connected to the communities she serves.

The Madawaska Outpatient Office is part of AMHC’s network of outpatient clinics located throughout Aroostook, Hancock, and Washington counties. These clinics offer a wide range of services, including individual therapy, substance use counseling, family and couples therapy, psychiatric care, and case management. AMHC clinicians work closely with other programs and community partners to ensure coordinated, person-centered care.

Sarah’s promotion reflects AMHC’s continued commitment to expanding access to high-quality behavioral health services throughout northern Maine.
