Jason Cyr Made Director of Information Technology
AMHC is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Cyr to Director of Information Technology. A longtime member of the AMHC team, Cyr has served the agency in various technology roles since 2005 and brings more than two decades of experience supporting the systems, infrastructure, and technology planning that help AMHC deliver high-quality behavioral health services across the region.
In his expanded role, Cyr will join AMHC’s Senior Leadership Team and help guide agency-wide technology decisions. His leadership will support continued investments in secure, reliable, and effective technology systems that strengthen AMHC’s ability to serve individuals and families in Aroostook, Hancock, and Washington counties.
“For years, Jason has been the person helping AMHC navigate increasingly complex technology challenges and building our program reporting infrastructure,” said AMHC CEO Christy Daggett. “As technology, cybersecurity, data, and analytics become more central to everything we do, it made sense to elevate this role to the Senior Leadership Team. Jason has earned that seat at the table, and our organization will be stronger because of it.”
Cyr’s promotion comes as AMHC has been awarded $651,900 through Maine’s Rural Health Transformation Program to modernize behavioral health technology and infrastructure across its Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic operations. The funding will support investments in data analytics, cybersecurity, electronic health record optimization, call-management technology, medication monitoring, measurement-based care tools, and AI-assisted clinical documentation.
In September 2026, Cyr was also selected to participate in a small statewide Rural Health Leadership cohort sponsored by the Hanley Center for Health Leadership and Education. Together, these opportunities position Cyr to help shape AMHC’s long-term technology strategy while supporting innovation, security, and access to care across rural Maine.
