AMHC Names Kimberly Jacob as Director of Community Integration

AMHC is pleased to announce the promotion of Kimberly Jacob, LCPC, to Director of Community Integration. The role supports individuals with diverse needs, ensures access to resources, and fosters community partnerships to enhance social inclusion and quality of life.

Christine Brown, who is retiring from the role after 27 years with the agency, says, “Kimberly has extensive direct experience as a service provider in several program areas. She is highly knowledgeable, astute, and mission focused. This, combined with her gift for creative, visionary thinking, makes her the perfect fit. I am very excited for the future of the Community Integration Program under Kimberly’s leadership.”

AMHC’s mission is to provide integrated healthcare services that maximize an individual’s potential for recovery and improvement in their quality of life. Behavioral health services extend beyond clinical support, and community integration work is a crucial aspect of the agency’s work.

Kimberly says about the role, “For me, community integration is about more than services; it’s about people having real access to their communities and the chance to thrive on their own terms. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to lead this work and collaborate with staff, partners, and the individuals we support to strengthen connections and expand what’s possible.”

Kimberly has been providing community-oriented work with the agency since 2018. Previously, Kimberly served as the Supported Housing Coordinator and Behavioral Home Health Coordinator at AMHC. Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Mental Health from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Counseling Psychology at Arizona State University.
