ARCH Recovery Center Open House on Saturday, July 26

Are you looking for support, resources, or a better understanding of recovery? Come to the ARCH Recovery Support Center Open House on Saturday, July 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 106 Main Street in Houlton. This event is open to everyone, including individuals in recovery, loved ones, and community members who want to learn more.

This special event is more than just an introduction to our center. It is a celebration of community, healing, and the power of peer support. Guests can enjoy food, fun, and games while exploring the free, peer-led services that are changing lives across the region.

What You'll Experience

The ARCH Recovery Support Center is part of AMHC's broader mission to bring hope, education, and empowerment to individuals, families, and communities affected by substance use. Whether you or someone you know is impacted, you'll find a welcoming space filled with information, resources, and, most importantly, people who understand.

FREE Peer-led Services Rooted in Respect & Empowerment

ARCH and AMHC's other Recovery Support Centers offer a range of free services led by individuals in long-term recovery. These peers are here to walk alongside you, share their lived experiences, and help you build your path to wellness.

Some of the services include:

  • Recovery Coaching: One-on-one guidance to help you create and follow through on your recovery goals.
  • Peer Advising: Connections to community support groups, local resources, and wellness activities.
  • Naloxone Training and Distribution: Learn how to recognize and respond to overdose situations and access free Naloxone kits.
  • Recovery Planning: Personalized assistance with finding housing, employment, healthcare, and other support.
  • Support for All Pathways to Recovery: Every individual's journey is honored and supported.

A Focus on Harm Reduction and Compassion

ARCH follows harm reduction principles, recognizing that recovery is a personal and individualized process for each person. We focus on meeting people where they are and helping them reduce risks while building a healthier future. Everyone deserves dignity, respect, and access to the resources they need.

Services are also connected to AMHC's Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, which provides integrated care that includes co-occurring mental health services for individuals and families across Aroostook, Hancock, and Washington counties.

Why Attend?

Whether you're seeking support, want to learn more, or are simply interested in what ARCH has to offer, this Open House is the perfect opportunity. You will leave with a clearer understanding of the recovery resources available and the encouragement that hope and healing are always possible.

Please stop by, bring a friend, and help us share the message that recovery is possible and that support is always available.
